鉄鋼世界最大手のアルセロール・ミタル がこのほど発表した2009年10－12月期（第4四半期）決算の最終損益は10億7,000万ドルの黒字だった。需要回復で売上高が16％増の186億ドルに拡大し、前年同期の赤字（26億ドル）から黒字に転換した。黒字は2四半期連続。12月通期の最終損益は1億1,800万ドルの黒字で、黒字幅は上期に赤字だった影響で前年の94億ドルを大きく下回った。
